Homework
Homework Policy
Language arts
- I assign a reading log Monday- Thursday. Please have your student read to you at least two of these days for twenty minutes. As well as have them write a couple sentences about the book they read.
- Students will have a worksheet for their weekly spelling words, each night (same as reading log Monday- Thursday). This worksheet should be glued into their homework notebook. The only night they won't have a worksheet glued in, will be on Monday nights. Their job is to rewrite their spelling words vertically in ABC order, numbering their pages 1-20. The first few weeks we will set up notebook together, and then they will be in charge of setting it up on their own.
Math
- Along with Language Arts, students will have a Math worksheet to be found in their homework folder. This worksheet will match our Math lesson for the day.
